Dirk has a passion for photography that is only surpassed by his love of the great
outdoors.
All his diverse work/life experiences finally led Dirk to establish his own business
in the Cape, that ultimately employed over 300 people. After 10 years of being
‘confined’ to the corporate world it was eventually enough for Dirk, resulting in him
selling up his business in order to reconnect with his outdoor pursuits. A job as an
overland tour truck driver allowed him to start exploring South Africa on a big scale
and the borders beyond, into its neighbouring countries.
